I've recently become a Master Tailor and the /tells are starting to come in.....
However, I have no idea what to charge for stuff when they ask. Now, I appreciate that prices will fluctuate for every player but I could do with a 'guide' that I can refer to when quoting prices to people.
Can anyone help? Perhaps there is a website somewhere that has a useful price guide?
Thanks in advance.

This site has a price caluclator where you can plug in different costs per unit of resource, plus factory costs, etc. It's a handy little tool. Hope that helps.

I would suggest visiting the other tailor vendors on the server to have an idea of their price. It's the best pricing method I have found personally.

Remember that marking up pricing to test the customers wallet size is not a crime.
But then try not to rip them of either. Checking our several vendors in your galaxy is a good method. Find a successfull tailor and try to match their prices as they charge the most they can without rippiing people off since they are probably tired of crafting a whole bunch.
Many people believe that more expensive clothes are better clothes. Some people actually avoid cheap vendors because they figure something must be wrong with the clothes.

Lovely calculator... if you charge per resources used that is.
Now I'll just sit down and poke in some numbers here and there till I get a decent price list for my little shop.

I agree with Songe. Most customers have shopped around and know about what people charge. If they have a price stuck in their head, it's going to be hard to get around, unless it's less.

When I first got started I used Sheylara.com for pricing and as a referrence for my customers to use.

Many of the catalog sites listed in the FAQ stickied above contain price lists. These can be very useful and you can compare prices.
