Thread: Droidsmith Toolset Schematic useless?

Has anyone got any information on one of the components needed to make this object? Apparently it needs a Droid Repair Tool but as a Master Droid Engineer I can safely say that no such tool exists in myDE schematic listing.The closest thing is a Droid Repair Module but this is not accepted in the schematic slot.
Can I assume that this means this object is effectively not possible to craft and is just one of the many hundreds of flaws I've encountered with this game?

You are correct, All it does is take up one slot in your datapad now and forever b/c you cant delete it.
I thought about trying to see if i could find the oldest DE on my server and see if he SOMEHOW had a droid repair tool from along time ago. If im not mistaken, they use to be in the game when it was new, then taken out. Am i right or wrong here, can someone help me out?

i hear in a month with the droid invasion there readding them in
what i hate is the crafters apron that gives tailor bonuses lol

What about heavy duty clasps?, also another resource needed for this schematic. Ive not seen them under any profesion. Whats worse they are required from a factory crate so there goes the loot ideas.

They dont have to be from a crate. They just all have to have the same serial number. Kinda like Krayt tissues. The Leather and Clasps are both loot drops from various NPCs (Nightsisters down to hermits). All the items (of same type)from a single mob will have the same serial number.

Good Day, I am a Master DE on Intrepid and I have 5 of these droid repair tools. I made them on a whim will working through DE. If there are any tailors on Intrepid working on the droidsmith schematic, please contact me in game to see what arrangements we can make.

Ok, you're gonna laugh, but apparently the droid tool thingys (that we don't have now) were craftable at one point, and if anyone has one from about 6 months ago... they work with the schematic *boggle*. Read all about it on the DE forums.

Actually, they were an artisan item, just like the rest of the repair tools. But best chance of DE's still having one.
