Thread: Spec-Ops Field Agent Pack
Where did you get it?
It might be useful, but we have to know the mods... (if there are any, if not, then its probly worthless )
It appears just like the normal spec ops pack, no wearing requirements, think it's a reward from the rebel theme park but I'm not certain on that.
It has the following stats... +5 Foraging, +5 Camoflage, +3 melee defence & +3 ranged defence.
Uses the same materials as the normal spec ops pack with 3 extras, 1 portion of heavy duty leather, 10 titanium aluminium (2 lots of 10 altogether), and 10 Rori vegetable fungus. I had to go scrape the fungus off some hilltop in Rori myself as there wasn't any on the bazaar anywhere here.
Overall it's an ok pack though the lightweight military pack seems to be in more demand. Best thing to do is make them up some and auction them with a reserve so you at least get the cost of the leather back.
Ends up the leather will be the main expense for the pack. It's hard to get and expensive to buy unless you can catch a piece on the bazaar. I've caught 4 off the bazaar so far but it comes down to luck.
I was all set on getting the pack, because it's the *only* damn thing I have the ingredients to make and thought I'd be getting the actual schematic for.... Got the Weaponsmith thingy instead, which I don't have any of the required stuff to make.
I have pretty sure I have some Spec Ops Pack schematics spare if you want to trade for the weaponsmith toolkit.

(The funny thing is, I mostly just want one of those damn packs for myself! The packs are like the only schematic items of any use to me personally, and the Spec-Ops style has always been my preferred pack, since it's less obtrusive than the others....)
To the SWGTailor folks who are compiling the wonderful guide to this stuff: It'd be good to make this more explicit, that the Mon Mothma Dantooine missions will give you one or the other randomly. I was thinking there might be some other Mon Mothma somewhere who *also* gives out missions. Which isn't as crazy as it sounds - I believe someone noted that at any given time, Princess Leia is in 5 places across the galaxy at once....
