Do Master Tailors have a bonus for clothing repair? I have a belt that is in need of repair, but I've had some bad experiences in the past even using a 99.9999999 clothing repair tool. So I'm just wondering if it would be better to find a Master Tailor to try to repair the belt.

No, as master tailors we get no repair bonus unless we buy skill tapes! As a master tailor I have ruined many clothing items by trying to repair it at 800/1000 or higher even with a good tool. This is something I think a master of any profession should have.. some skill in repairing the itemsyou craft. I can't believe we have a big fat 0... So my recomendation is you look for atailor who has some repair tapes and thatis still not going to guarantee it will work You could probablybuy someclothing repair skill tapes and wear them yourself to repair your clothing lol. Kinda sillybut thats how it is.

This isn't really true. I did an experiment that showed that tailors definitely get a repair bonus.

Please check Gyopi's thread on her experiment that proves we do get a bonus to repair. Sorry can't find the link just now - need to jump on the shuttle
