Thread: Latest, Coolest Clothing and Trends
Ok, the "most usless clothing item" thread has stayed far enough from the original topic that this thread has become necessary. I have to admit that I am certainly not a "fashion trend-setter" like some other tailors are (I go for simple "evil scientist" looks mostly), and tend to be more re-active to trends (having the customer tell me what's new and popular) rather thantelling the customer. So I'll be carefully following what you all tell me in this area, lol. Anyhow, the current stuff that I've been suddenly selling a lot of that I haven't been before is:
dress slacks (usually black)
decorative vests (black and red, or blue and white seem to be favorites)
trim lined shirt (white)
fashionably pleated skirt (any bright color)
warm hats (just kidding :smileyvery-happy![]()
interesting that these are all in formalwear and up until I had made master I had maybe gotten 1 or 2 requests for formalwear items in the entire 2 months I had been a tailor. I'd say formalwear is definitely "in" right now.
Decorative vests (black and indigo, black and red, black and green), with comfortable slacks in black or two-toned formal skirts, which match wonderfully with the vests. Can't keep them in stock, get numerous requests for the outfit each day.
And ever since the groom at one of the larger Tatooine weddings wore a robe of honour, every man and his wort wants one.. *grins*

Ever since I sold the Robe of Honor with a Decorative Headdress at Halloween as "The Pope" costume, no one will buy them!
I'm getting more requests for more dressy clothing from guys.
My fav is a black pilots jacket, black casual pants, white side buttoned shirt, black dress shoes and a black plated necklace.
People think it looks like a tux.
I'm glad the the whole "black cloak" trend has died down. At least from what I've seen.
I've had alot of request for purple casual slacks, yellow suit shirt with purple trim, dress shoesand either a purple rugged jacket or a white cloak.
I get a lot of requests for decorative vest with matching two tone formal skirts/tactical skinsuits, and doctor's dresses for TKAs, as well as sunguards.
For some reason the only trends I get are always coming from TKAs.
Current Wookie Trend (on Scylla):
Wookie Pull Over - Black
Wookie Arm Wraps - Black
Whieghted Wookie Hood - Black
Notice this is all low end stuff, decent sales for me ![]()
