devs? anyone? I was just thinking since clothes are going to be effected by decay soon it would be nice if we could experiment again and instead of doing nothing like before, pump the durability of our clothes.

Why exactly was it taken out in the first place? I started Tailor along time ago, and made clothes as I went never grinding up. So I never really paid attention to why things happened, I just remember it being gone one day.

Was there an official reason?

Thank you.

Here here! I would so much love to have the quality of my materials (which takes a lot of effort to find) and the quality of my craftsmanship set me apart as an individual crafter! I am so sick of knowing that no matter what high quality material I use, my wares are no different from someone who uses cheap grinding garbage to craft their garments. I for one am very eager for this to change, in fact I have been so bored with the lack of experimentation that I have started to pick up armorsmith so I can once again see the fruits of my labor.

It was removed because it serves no purpose. Clothing doesn't decay with use, and still won't after the patch... it will decay a set amount when you die, depending on whether it's insured or not. Higher durability won't affect this.

I miss experimentation too... it's just *fun*! I used to experiment on clothes knowing full well it did nothing. I wish that our color choices depended on how well we experimented or something.

Also, since durability *does* matter for armor, it seems we should still be able to experiment on synthetic cloth, reinforced fiber panels, and fiberplast panels. But no, no top button for us :-/
