Thread: Can you use a BE tissues to give more than one mod?
I'm new to the tailoring field, and I'm trying to figure out what is possible with BE tissues. Can you use 2 seperate tissues in the same garment; 1 in a synth cloth and one in a fiber panel? If so what combinations have been found to be popular? And do people appreciate the cost that has to go into making these?
Thanks for any input.

Sythetic cloth and reinforced cloth take different bio bonuses. It depends on what the schematic calls for if and what kind and how much of bonuses can be applied to any particular item.
If there is more than one slot used of synthetic - the bonuses will add up, multiple identical sheets do NOT accumulate bonuses within the same sloth.
There are several schematics that use more than one sheet of synthetic in more than one slot. These can have either medic/entertainer - or creature handler (if we ever get milk) you could double these up on one - pick one or two or three - depending on the schematic.
There are a few schematics that take synthetic AND reinforced - in that case, you could have a combat/reinforced type bonus - and the synthetic bonus on one garment. Pocketed shorts and crafters pants are probably the two most efficient ones for a multi-bonus, using one sheet of each. Reinforced pants, infiltrators pants, cammos and spec-ops dusters can also do this - but one waste sheet of modded cloth is involved. Jumpsuits tend to be the worst offender on the wasted sheet front - sometimes 4 or 5 waste sheets involved for the benefit of one tissue worth of bonus.
No schematic to date has more than one instance of reinforced - so you are stuck is a single combat type bonus on any given item - in a single tissues strength - no matter how many sheets are involved as waste.
As to popularity - oh yeah - they fly off my vendor.
Best sellers on my vendor in order are:
1. Black form fitting shirt with stun/melee,,,it can be equipped under armor is the reason
2. Black military camo pants with stun/melee
3. Black simple vest wound/injury treatment
4. Black form fitting shirt with bleed defense, same as above
5. Black military camo pants with bleed defense
8 Black form fitting shirt with mask and camo
9. Black military pants with mask and camo
10, Black spec ops duster wth stun/melee/wound/injury
and last my most profitable item is a Black simple vest with taming vicious/wild bonus,,usually priced around 500000 depending on the bonus the milk provided.
PS: Its possible that Black sells the best since I only stock black,,but few ask for a different color,,
I stock a lot of black too - basic black can be put with nearly anything so it's a good stock item.
If I'm feeling froggy, have the materials and the time, I'll do up 'sets' - things that would go well together, although I list them seperatly. One day I might concentrate on a variety of items in say crimson, or sapphire, or emerald - I tend to stick to the bold colors, tangerine is a lovely orange, purple.
Maybe 30 -40 items of different bonus, all within the same color schemes so they could be mixed and matched fairly easily.
If even a third of these stick on the vendor for a week or so, I've then got a nice mix and variety of both color and styles and bonuses too.
I just wish all the sorts on the vendors would work properly, coming along - but we still have a way to go. Being able to search for a bonus would be awesome - but I'm not holding my breath - the way I tag my items, an alphabetical search (bonus type first in tag) will pretty much do the same thing.
1) Yes. There are two types of this. One is the "double bonus" clothing items, where you stick BE enhanced synthetic cloths into multiple "slots" in the same piece of clothing. You can easily reach +25 medical bonus doing this, which customers *love*.
2) Most popular combos:
Mask Scent + medical
Melee/Stun + medical
Bleed Defense + medical
I hardly ever sell any entertainer bonus clothing. I've got items in my vendor that have been there literally a month and not sold.
3) I don't think customers tend to be savvy about what it takes to make BE enhanced clothing (if that was your question), but they do value them very very highly. If you're wondering about pricing, there are tons and tons of old threads lying around in this forum discussing pricing of BE enhanced clothing, so look those up, but yes, they sell very very well, even when priced fairly highly.
Nearly any reinforced type bonus I do paired with medic flys off my vendor.
Just put several nice total +62ish medic/scout combos on the vendor late last night - bet there isn't a pair left this evening.
Entertainer is my slowest mover - clothing may be an entertainers lifeblood - but rarely do they ever need more. It's steady - but nothing like my medic gear, closely followed by the combat stuff - and medic/whatever is always a sure fire winner. Tons and tons of people have novice medic to be able to heal their own basic wounds and +25 (30 total) may not be a ton - but it beats the heck outta +5.
