Thread: Socketed clothing with multiple skill tapes added...
I never did get a straight answer on this: I know stacked skill mods in a piece of socketed clothing only use the highest mod value, but if I have an article with identical mods and identical values, say, four identical Melee Defense +1 skill tapes in a four socket item, do they stack to 4, or only retain a +1 modifier?
Thanks all
If you definately want the +4, just put one each in four different pieces of clothing. That's the safest way to use them.
Thanks for the response. I actually just tried this with +1 Poison Resistance and they DO NOT stack up if anyone was wondering. You simply loose the second tape you drop on the article of clothing.
Also, experimented with a triple skill mod: Take Cover +3, Poison Resistance +3, and something else +1, and when dropped in, the first mod described when the tape is examined is the one you will get. I wanted the +3 poison to show up, but the Take Cover was the only one that did. Hope this helps, I didn't know this stuff...
Well thats messed up.. but then again, what isnt. I wish I had seen this before I put in the skill tape to my blouse. I already had a +1 clothing assembly, so I added +3... now my blouse is just that +3. So my +1 item is nil, void, gone. How in the heck does that make any sense? Just one more thing that frustrates me.
BTW... what are people paying for clothing assembly tapes? I was sold a +3 for 100k and really didnt have a point of reference to know if this was fair market value or not.
