Thread: My little pantheon of vendors: a response to vendor limits.
Because I will probably have to spread my goods onto lots of vendors (and my fiance the armorcrafterwill have to as well) I decided to have some fun with it. My main problem was that I didn't wnat to rename my vendors every time I did a little rearranging of goods.
With a soon-to-be master merchant on a 2nd account, I started my little pantheon last night. Soooo cute. I got a medium naboo house, so there are pillars, and I can put 5 in the main room with a pillar on each side. I'm saving one vendor for private sales, if they are ever put in. If not, #6 will be in the basement to hold custom orders in backpacks, and probably nobody will buy - but you never know.
So, here's the plan, and it's soooo cute (I'm so proud of this, I had to share)
Ares - God of War. Zabrak. Tantel helm, thin pleated skirt, tantel vest, tantel boots. Sells armor.
Athena - God of War and... well other stuff too (no mythology lessons today!). Human. Short Wrap, composite chest plate, and, of course, sandals!. May sell armor, armor accessories, or clothing, depending on space issues.
Poseidon - god of the sea - Mon cal (hee hee). Probably going to dress him in a double robe.
Aphrodite - goddess of love. Twi'lek. Some sort of bikini and long skirt - but to be honest I'm struggling with this one because I want some sort of grant headdress, but lekku in the front totally block the bikini ![]()
Hades - god of teh underworld. That devil-lookin race. At first, I was going to put him in teh basement (ha ha hades in teh basement) but he's just too cute. I"m not sure what is devily enough for him to wear. I mihgt just go with teh robe of honor.
I know that Hades, Aphrodite, and Poseidon are going to sell clothes, and possibly Athena, depending on limits, and categorization.
Suggestions on my little Greek theme would be appreciated!
Oh, and for you Classics nerds out there, my private vendor is going to be named Priapus. *giggle*
Or put really nice outfits at unaffordably highprices on a vendor named Tantalus. Have another one called Charon that sells only black clothing for a fixed price of 30 credits.
On Athena: Her most conspicuous role was perhaps that of a goddess of war, the female counterpart of Ares. However, she was also a goddess of peace, noted for her compassion and generosity. Like Minerva, with whom the Romans identified her, she was a patron of the arts and crafts, especially spinning and weaving.
Maybe she can sell just field wear?
