My concern with that, and you may not share it, is that we might be stepping on architects' toes.

Yah, I figured once rugs are in game as schematics, permanent or limited (like the Museum Painting one), that if anyone got them, it would be architects. They got the statues and lights too, which I always thought was kind of not square. Seems to me Artisans should be the ummm, artisans? Statues, lights, rugs, paintings, other decorative knick knacks? Gadgets, widgets and doodads, oh my!

But yeah, I love the rug I got for my Kettemoor char. Sean won the election there. Big golden yellow rug with an abstract pattern. Almost completely covers the floor in the first room of her small generic house. And the painting I got in the additional historical quest. Oh wow is it ever fantastic! Huge! Looks like a moonshot, with the Sun cresting beneath the horizon in space. Very cool.

Yes but rugs deal with CLOTH not structures like statues, streetlights and so forth. I would rather make the rugs than make the darn trim or syn cloth to be used in the creation of the rug. That is why I think rugs would be tailor, since they are made from fabric.
