Last night I tried to put skill tapes on a backpack with 4 sockets, but they wouldn't apply. Am I doing something wrong? or do backpacks not accept the clothing skill tapes?

Along those same lines, I remember long ago skill tapes had a "use" option from the radial menu when targeted, not sure when or why this was removed, but it sure would help everybody to get tapes into a pack.
