I've been trying to find a look for my character for a very looooong time. Not being able to find anything 1/2 way decent..... (I'm just not smart when it comes to fashion)
so.... figured maybe I should post here, to see if anyone had any suggestions
(Char is Human/Female)
Any suggestions/comments/links would be appreciated

Check the FAQs, there are a few sites that have outfits put together already, and might give you an idea of what you want. Asking a Tailor to outfit you from head to toe without giving ANY references makes for many headaches on both sides.

1. Yes, do check the FAQ for tailor sites. Many have images of all the clothing available and in what colors too. Also, complete outfits, ideas for various combinations, fashion advice, etc.
2. It is very difficult to suggest an outfit for someone if you have no idea what they look like, what their profession is (if the outfit is to be profession-related), what their preferences in colors might be...
3.. If you are not going to have a personal visit with a tailor and wish to do a sight-unseen mail order, the tailor will need to know:
Species, gender, skin, hair and eye color. Marking/Tattoo colors if any. What color(s) do you want? What colors are you willing to try? What colors do you dislike? Style preferences? Do you need BE mods in any of it?
A personal "fitting" with a tailor is best if you do not know what is available, or if you do not know what you want. There's just soooo many variables to consider.

 lol heres a pic of what im currently wearing.....
I'm mostly a combat oriented character, working on the FS grind with commando. After, will be going TKM/Pistoleer perhaps, or a kind of "pistol master"
(Smuggler/Pistoleer)
I have checked ALL the websites about outfit suggestions, liked the ideas, but just looking for some more advice from more people

Ok, just some observations. First of all, what can I say about your current attire other than /shudder. Ok just personal opinion here. Number 1, lose the sunguard. Other than Ribbed Shirts and Cartridge Belts the sungaurd is my MOST hated item we make. Number 2, if going TKM try out something other than the Decorative Vest/Two-Tone Skirt combo. Go for a more streamlined look. Maybe muscle shirt/striped slacks/matching Uniform bootscombo or for a more Kung Fu flair Pantaloons/Belted Vest/Sandels. Number 3, Look into some of the more NON-basic colors (red, white, blue, black) Maybe browns, tans and mediums greens. Basically try the middle range colors. Number 4, last but not least, for outer wear try out a tan or brownduster for the gunslinger look rather than the Matrix look. Just an off the top of my head observation but just things to consider.

If I were you, I'd get a nice BE outfit made with melee defense and defense vs stun in the shirt and pants.
Maybe a cute pair of pocketed shorts, with BE enhancements and a short sleeved lined workshirt alsowith BE tissues in them.
Maybe a cute pair of pocketed shorts, with BE enhancements and a short sleeved lined workshirt alsowith BE tissues in them.
Or get some camos in nice colors with a formfitting undershirt to match... something in more feminine colors.
Then I would keep another couple of outfits to quickly change into when not in combat mode
such as a two-tone skirt and a revealing top with boots and gloves (looks nice without being too dressy or too sexy)
ORa cute pair of plain shorts with a plain shirt (looks like a cute lil jumpsuit)...
I have more suggestions but I think that's all for now.

Please send me a reminder through in game email. I often get really busy in the game so if you don't send me an email, I will forget... heck even with an email I sometimes forget.
