I can't find out how to make it.

It's a dropped item, non-craftable by Tailors.

There's a few of these ingame - usually with completely generic names (a friend of mine has a 'Vest' which looks nothing like any schematic in the Tailoring tree).

Possibly previews of new schematics to be introduced sometime?

Aaah. That's what I am hoping, sort of. That these things we see we can't make are future schematics. I saw a female NPC last night wearing a long skirt-type thing (words fail me); it was just a long panel of cloth in front and back, ankle-length, completely open on the sides (showed leg all the way up to the neck, lol), held up with only a low-slung chain belt. It was verrrry sexy looking. If it is an in-game schematic, I've never seen anyone wearing this, nor have I seen it posted on any of the various "tailor sites." Even not being a dancer - I'd buy that skirt in a heartbeat.

That sounds like the item that the human female avatar is wearing, on the player-races screenshot on the official site.

I can confirm it's not a current schematic, alas.

If we ever get them ... I'm making one of them for myself in every shade possible!

I saw the skirt you are talking about on a dancer. It looked very good on her, guess it is a npc drop. Would love to pick one up for my dancer.

Thanks for the information. Is there a website or such that has pictures of all the tailor made items? Also is there one that is listing all the NPC drop clothing?

Anybody know which NPC is dropping the robe in the original post? Does it just have to be one wearing it?Or, alternatively, does anyone want to sell a robe like this? I'd realy love to get one!

It's not just from dark jedis. I think maybe some loot is more rare than others, and dark jedis have a greater chance of having rarer loot. No real proof of this, it's just an idea.

But I've got several of those robes. One I looted from a plasma thief. Another was looted from a Mauler by one of my PA members. The others I've been buying from the bazaar. I don't list them on my vendor, but I have sold them to folks who wanted a unique outfit. Of course the downside is that they aren't customizable. I've sold 3 in my shop, but I have no idea what to charge for them! So I've just been telling my customers to give me whatever they think is fair, because as loot drops they're all at least somewhat damaged. And I also told each customer that there's a possiblity the schematic will be added in later so they may no longer be loot only.

What do you guys think these are worth? At first I didn't like the idea of selling clothing I couldn't make myself, but since these aren't craftable by anyone I decided to give it a try.

Actually I got mine from a locked container. Along with a CDEF pistol and 1 unit of steel lol!!

The official screenshots pages have so many pictures of clothing that Tailors can't make (most notably the bikini bottom/skirt thingy on the far right of the female avatar group shot and the bodysuits that the male Mon Cal and Rodian are wearing (unless that's some type of armor I have yet to see in-game). There are also older screenshots of players wearing shiny black leather pants that aren't in the game (or at least not craftable). I'd like to see some of this stuff --as well as entirely new items --added at some point.

Dark Jedi's drop those I believe.
