From what has been said by the Dev team (I think I saw them say this in a FanFest report) is that capes would require enormous amounts of Art Team Development. So, not anytime in the near future. Probably not even this year.

I really have to wonder about stuff like this. I don't doubt that it takes time but I'm just wondering if maybe it's more like it's not a priority. In DAoC you have hooded cloaks that you can put up and down and CoH is implementing capes in their next patch. I dunno, I guess I would rather hear that it's really not on their list of things to do rather than "too much time for the art team" I mean CoH has only been out since April. Anyway, I hope at least that it's really being considered and we're not just getting an excuse.

Maybe we could befuddle them andsay capes was just a typo of space and that surely they said the Capes Expansion was due out at the end of October.
