I am new to the boards, the game and the tailoring profession. I have recently mastered (please tell me I will never have to make another ribbed shirt!) and now I have set up a shop with things I have made, but I know so little about the profession.
I understand it is possible to get new and different schematics, but I don't know how....are theypurchasedfrom anNPC merchant somewhere? I have had customers request special clothing, but I don't know how to make it. What are "sockets" and is it something I have to create specially or is it inherent to the clothing items themselves, and how many sockets are in each piece? I have learned that you need to get "tissue" specially created by a bio engineer in order to make certain clothes with special attributes, but can all clothes be made with these enhancements or only some, and how are the enhancements added to the clothing? One possible customer has asked for a head wrap and gloves with these enhancements, but I don't even know if these items can be enhanced. How are items made that have +'s to them?
A lot of questions I know, and if thereis a guide out there somewhere that you could direct me to, I would be grateful. Please respond by email, or here on the forums...I am anxious to get started.

Heh, ok...my bad. I did see READ ME FIRST (and didn't read further)and stupidly assumed it was another thread about how to play nice on the boards. Thank you for the pointer and that did answer my questions! ::hugs::
