This Months Review
OMG OMG what a bumper month, in previous months I was heading to that all important milestone the 4 million in revenue. I was hoping this month to get over that figure but instead I have smashed it and also the 5 million barrier. The key factor to this massive increase was the new vendor changes made again this month. Also I altered my stock outlay on my vendor by simply stocking more of the popular outfits.

Vendor Changes
As you might recall last month I opened a new shop in coronet, the shop was starting to do really well. Well as luck would have it on the same planet the coronet mall found themselves without a tailor vendor as the previous one quit. I was offered the position and jumped at the chance. I do love running my own shops as I can alter my display, show of my clothes. However I cant compete with the foot traffic volume malls get, so it makes good business sense to hitch up with one.
If you look at the figures for the Coronet mall it has been a great success, of course this is due in part to the fact I am tapping into a new planets market. It remains to be seen it these figures will remain so high.
Stocking Vendors
It would seem a simple process to stock a vendor with any old items and the more the better but is this so ?. See I found if you stock to much of the wrong types of items people have trouble sorting through it and dont buy much. However stock to little you miss out on possible sales or worst yet people are put off coming back by the low stock.
I stock by reading each e-mail and making that item to put back on the vendor then delete the mail. Yes its a lot of work and I can take some short cuts people tend to buy outfits so if someone is buying a han solo shirt you can guess they are going to buy the pants etc as well.
Even though I stock everyday I started looking at the times they sold out, I was shocked to find out that the more popular items would sell out in just a few hours rather than the 24 I had always suspected. Based on this I made 5-6 copies of the more popular items so I have started selling more items over the 24 hours stocking period.

Congrats on a good month and I hope your Coronet store continues to do well
I know what you mean about restocking. Personally I export the data from the Merchant's Friend as a CSV file then open that file with MS Works Spreadsheet. I can then sort by name, delete the unrequired columns (date/customer/vendor/location) and print off my restock list. I find it a lot easier to refer to a printed sheet infront of me rather than using the individual emails.

WoW! what a great idea! I have been just restocking on whims and requests. Well, this weekend is reorganize and restock vendor weekend, what not a better time to implement another great idea

Where do you get that program that extracts that info and how is it used? I am a new tailor and would love something like this. Thanks!

Hat - Injury Treatment: +25 / Wound Treatment: +25 - 152
Bandolier - Melee Defense: +4 / Defense Vs. Stun: +17 - 143
Bandolier - Intimidation: +17 / Warcry: +17 - 45
Hat - Taming Vicious Creatures: +25 / Taming WIld Creatures: +25 -63
Shirt - Injury Treatment: +25 / Wound Treatment: +25 - 49
Shirt - Intimidation: +17 / Warcry: +17 - 39
Shirt - Bleeding Defense: +17 - 28
Shirt - Taming Vicious Creatures: +25 / Taming Wild Creatures: +25 - 15
Lightweight Military Pack - 25

I also deal with bulk orders which are hard to keep track of when you do direct sales
I hope this data helps to give people an idea on what sells and what dosn't ( bleeding defense )
I've discovered that Intimidation/Warcry is a good seller if you stock it.
These are all 4 socket items with the exception of the packs.
