isn't there some kind of body suit you can wear under armor tha allows stacked mods?

Wooly shirt which takes 6 pices of syn cloth with med bonus's in, so it may be costsly depemding on your tailor.

Leather trim shirt also works and is somewhat less unsightly. Revealing top or low-cut top or sports wrap work for female toons.

And if you don't like the wooly shirt there is the leather trim shirt as well

And if you are female the low-cut top, revealing top and sports wrap can also be made with +25 injury & wound treatment.
