well i posted here 2 times because i was stinking and the advice helped! iv found a guild thats loves clothign and wants tons to. but thing is-i always use my friends factory to crank out components. so im crafting away with the crates and then-the crates dodnt show up when crafting! i tried taking an item out and it worked! but thing is i have about 50 full crates of components sitting in my input hopper. and u cant remove items in from crates while in there! does that really meani have to drag 50 crates into my inv drag 25 items out of each, then well i dodnt know! id have 1250 components! where can i put some many un crated components!?? soemone PLEASE tell me my computer just had a bug!!!!
this is horrible terrible ABSOULTLEY EVIL!

It's a bug, possibly related to the change that forces smugglers to remove UKs and clamps from crates before use. Post it to In Live and /bug it.

This is a bug that cropped up in the past couple of days,I've seenthreads about it in the Doctor and Artisan forums. You might find some help/workarounds there...I didn't give them a close read since all my factories died recently so I don't have to worry about factory components. (So was that a blessing in disguise? I lose my factories so I don't have to care about a bug with crated items?
)

From what I hear, factories will still pull the components from crates for you, so if you're doing a factory run of items, you should be ok by just pulling the number of components you need for making the schematic and then putting everything back and starting up the factory.
If you're making individual items, you'll have to pull all the components out to make each item, but you shouldn't need all 1250 out at the same time.
Making another factory run wouldn't do much good, the problem is apparently with all crates regardless of when they were created, so making more crates would mean having even less inventory space.

Submit bug reports when it happens and start up a CS ticket. Eventually someone will notice and maybe it'll get fixed. I don't have all the answers...like I said in my original post, I'm not keeping up on this because my own factories have gone AWOL. Try doing some research in the other crafters' boards, they might have come up with a workaround you can use until the problem is actually fixed.

Oh wait..even wierder. i took the crates out of my input hopper and they worked! but crated in the hopper they dont...o well
