I was messing about making a few clothes for fun - experimenting with colours etc. and I made a reinforced pullover all in fire engine red ....
It was hideous - absolutely horrible, but instead of changing the colour or going into practise mode, I named it "Hideous Red Reinforced Pullover" and for a laugh, put it on my vendor at 2k .....
Someone actually bought it !!!

Try this one. I made a Crested Battle Padding (that cool wookiee shirt) and triple BE'd it with Injury/Wound Treatment, Taming, and Dancing/Music Wound healing.
I proceeded to name it "Teh Hologrinder" for a laugh - priced it at 150k, and it was gone in 48 hours. Go figure.

I might do a new line of clothing - "hideous and revolting for the sartorially challenged"

Something that surprised me in my first month was the things i made, not expecting to sell well but to just add some padding to the number of items on my vendors, but sold really fast. having read the tailor forum for a while before i mastered i expected the fastest selling thing to be black gunmans dusters, so i made plenty in preparation. instead the black cloaks outsold them, even the white cloaks outsold gunmans dusters
Another thing, i made flightsuits in various colours, expecting the ones that looked like the ones in the films to sell best, but again its all sorts of odd colours.
So now i try not to pre-judge good / bad colours, i just put up a variety and see what sells

heh i remember when the game first came out.. my friend picked up tailor first and would sell some black cloaks or something... he would name them Matrix cloaks.. or Matrix somthing.. god he made a killing off of those

I made a range of hidious outfits for a laugh, combining colours that should get me arrested by the tailor police, named them the "party range" now i get orders for them

Every once in a while, I'll make something in a color that I just can't name, so I call it Spec Ops Duster - Ugly.
And they sell eventually. I think I made one called 'Indescribable' and it was for an order.
Once for a gay wookiee (really was, not being derrogatory or anything) I made him a sigiled waist wrap in pinks and yellows and called it "Gay." He thought it was the funniest thing ever. But he had trouble finding other wookiees to hang around with, so he re-rolled and had me hold onto the clothes so he could have them for always.

Made a Flex-form shirt in all white.. Named it "Wife Beater Shirt" And it sold for 3k on the bazaar.. I know very non-PC of me

But i used to put up plain old gold colored "bands" on the bazaar named "The One Ring" at 6k apeice. They sell within 12 hours.
Do I feel guilty for this? No, because people like special named rings i guess lol.

That's ok, I made a white/silver emerald gemstone necklace once for a special order and named it "Evenstar".

Ha! I've "engraved" rings, necklaces and bracelets with names like: My Sweetheart, I Adore You, True To You, My Precious, etc. They ALWAYS sell first and fast, before any of the other generically named jewelry.

I had a guy just die laughing at my "Acid Wash Jeans" the other day. He bought them and sported them like an 80's champ though!

I miss the days of theinfiltrator suits, before they added the "snake skin" pattern to them. I made a killing of matching them to a clients skintone and naming them Birthday Suits ( http://www.fearlesspride.com/plug.php?p=gallery&pic=38 click on the thumbnail for a larger picture). Those were great days!
