Because they hate us!
No wait thats not right... um to annoy us?
Tomake up for actually fixing the necklace issue?
To force Armorsmiths to be tailors for fashion instead of armor protection by having the only working belts that have no protections either?
Because it will be fixed "After the combat balance" or "As part of..."
Because NJ is in the middle of moving and hasn't screamed loud enough yet about this. Its an annoying issue but minor. I hate the hola-hoop look myself trust me. She does have bigger battles to fight
Because they dont look so wrong with Hawtpants?

Well, the technical reason is probably that clothing has more layers than armor does and tailor belts are set to fit over all clothes, including a robe even if you are not wearing one. I have no idea of why they haven't fixed it yet, though. I usually tell people who want belts to find an armorsmith.

The decorated belt should fit all male toons just fine, there is a little clipping but it layers under a gunmans duster without too many problems... I have never had a female try one on, the belt ususlly seems unimportant with a nice fleshwrap

It doesnt really matter since the Padded Armor Belt is THE best looking belt in the game.
It fits male and female characters perfect while OUR belts are freaking hula hoops.
Truely the Devs care more for game breaking Jedi then a profession that gives their servers database issues.
**Edit**
FYI....both my characters wear a Padded Armor Belt instead of any of the plethera of the nasty buggy belts in the Tailor line up.

Well until they fix it, Im thinking I might just pick up enough Armorsmith to craft the padded belts and such , does any one know what level in AS one has to be?

at personal armor 4 you can make all of the armor items except composite, you won't really be able to make functional armor but you can make all the belts and so on.

Your colors for mabari belts and ubese shirts will be very limited if you just get personal armor 4because the customization line and the master box grant color choices, just like in tailoring. Ubese bandoliers and padded belts have no color options, so you will not be affected there.
