Hi guys

I'm going to be getting an alt here soon that I will be turning into my main tailor character. She's gonna be a cute purple twilek *drools at the thought of getting to model all the Lekku-wear*

I'm so stuck on name ideas I really want something cool that would be somewhat tailor-like...hehe, maybe not too obvious..lmao

Ever think of a name and wished you would've thought of it during your character creation? That always happens to me :/ so that's why I'm asking for ideas

I know there is creativity out there, I'm just up against a name-block aka "writer's block" so-to-say -_-

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Well if you're not playing on Chimaera I can recommend "Valsil"(that's what I use). Apparenly it means "Tailor" in Twi'lek(I dont know for sure, was told by friend who is SW-ner...enthusiast)

Well I'm sure someone already has Athena. They always pick Greek god names to feel Ub3r.

I would find you something suitable, but my Oxford Classical Dictionary is still in transit. Hestia is the goddess of the home and hearth, but that's too "barefoot and sewing" for my taste.

I forget the myth, but there is a horrible one that has to do with weaving - probably not suitable for this board. Short edited version: a woman was able to pinpoint her assailant (though he had cut her tongue out) by weaving the scene into a tapestry. I can't remember the name for the life of me and it's probably too gruesome a reference anyhoo.

"The Voice of the Shuttle" comes from Sophocles and refers to Polymela, a young woman who was savagely raped by her brother-in-law, a Thracian king. To prevent her from telling her sister (his wife) what had happened, he cut out her tongue. Desperate, Polymela used the only means she had available -- she let her wooden shuttle speak for her as she wove the scenes of her ra.pe and mutilation into a tapestry. When her sister saw it, she understood what had happened and took a terrible revenge upon her husband.
