Thread: *NEW* Tailor Character Name Ideas?
I'm going to be getting an alt here soon that I will be turning into my main tailor character. She's gonna be a cute purple twilek *drools at the thought of getting to model all the Lekku-wear*
I'm so stuck on name ideas
Ever think of a name and wished you would've thought of it during your character creation? That always happens to me :/ so that's why I'm asking for ideas
I know there is creativity out there, I'm just up against a name-block aka "writer's block" so-to-say -_-
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Athena is the goddess of civilisation, learning, craft and war. Her symbol is the owl, and she was an Olympian. Like Artemis she was also quick to anger. Arachne boasted that she was as good a weaver as Athena, to which Athena immediately challenged her to a competition. Arachne won the competition, and in her rage Athena transformed Arachne into a spider, where she and her children would weave forever more.
She is also the protector of heroes, and of children.
Hmm. Found this there too. Interesting....
Grant me the ability to see truth and clarity, to learn and appreciate new things, and to treasure and maintain the knowledge I already possess.
Allow me to be any person's equal, able to compete where I must, and to share when I can, in my culture and community.
Remind me that in being a woman, I still retain my reason and higher faculties, while allowing full reign of my emotions.
I would find you something suitable, but my Oxford Classical Dictionary is still in transit. Hestia is the goddess of the home and hearth, but that's too "barefoot and sewing" for my taste.
I forget the myth, but there is a horrible one that has to do with weaving - probably not suitable for this board. Short edited version: a woman was able to pinpoint her assailant (though he had cut her tongue out) by weaving the scene into a tapestry. I can't remember the name for the life of me and it's probably too gruesome a reference anyhoo.
