I was wondering if you are able to make waiscoats like the one Han Solo wears in the original Star Wars movie.

Have a look at Needful Things and look at the vests. The Short Vest, Casual Jacket, Pilot's Jacket, Reinforced Jacket, Rugged Jacket, or Sleeveless Jacket aregood matches to it. They all have open fronts, go to the waist and have slightly different styles.

I'm fairly certain that the casual jacket is based on the one Han wears in Empire. However, as to Han's vest from the first film... no, there isn't an item that matches it. The closest thing is the pocketed vest that new characters who chose scout get as newbie gear. It's very similar to Han's but for the pockets on the upper part of the back that his features. It is, unfortunately, not craftable at this time.
