How do you grind tailor with a macro?

It's nearly impossible to find out what draft schematic number to use in my macro.

Thanks in advance.

when you say it went crazy and stopped working, what exactly was happening?

i used this macro to grind Weaponsmith a while back, and it worked great.

Were you standing near a crafting station after you picked up the resources? That can upset crafting macros.

well first i was using 4 crafting tools to grind and when i ran out of resources i decided to pick up 4 more been as i had to wait about 10 secs and wanted to grind constant.

So i picked up the tools and resources and added 4 more tools onto my macro and then it stopped working. It opens up my 1st tool but doesnt advance to the resource imput screen and next it closes saying 'crafting session ended'. It then says failed to craft item and moves onto the next tool.

Very weird, at first i thought maybe i had wrote the new bit of the macro wrong but thats at the end of the macro so atleast the beginning should still work.

Tried writing a macro for just 1 tool to test it and BAM, not working

make sure you're not near a Crafting Station (in a person's home or in an NPC city) and that you're not near a Crafting Droid either. (just an idea)

nope, no droids or crafting stations near me. The problem for me now isnt the fact that ill have to grind by hand-done it b4 enough times, its just that this is one of those little problems that wont let u give up on em till you've fixed it. It'll keep me up all damn night, lol

ok, make sure that you open your first crafting station (without the macro running). to be on the safe side, choose the item you are going to be crafting with the macro, and craft one in practise mode the entire way through until the end. wait for that to finish crafting. then check all of your crafting tools, and make sure there isn't anything stuck in the output hopper. sometimes things get stuck in there if your inventory is full when crafting is complete.

once all of that is done, and no other crafting tool is running, try the macro again and see if you've got any luck.

And if its still not working, try relogging if you haven't already. I remember all of Mai's macros stopped working once, without any reason, and I had to relog to get them to work again.

i think i might have had a similar problem when i used it for weaponsmith. although i had to be at a crafting station for some of the thigns i was grinding with. sometimes something just seems to go weird with the macro. when it happens, just give it a /dump command to stop. than just go through and hand-make an item, and it usually worked for me.
