I seriously doubt this will ever happen since the eyewear was one of the bonuses for buying the Collector's Edition.

yeah yeah yeah, most collector's editions are for box collectors or people who have more money than they know what to do with. Why should the in game stuff be different for someone who spent more money, i call it special treatment

I think that question answers itself. I don't know why they cant make new eyewear though. They just can't release the special edition eyewear to the public.
