I saw a reference to these now being wearable on the In Testing page, but I've never seen them anywhere. Specifically:

"Hutt and Blacksun fighter helmets are now able to be worn by all playable species except Wookiees and Ithorians"

The 'now' suggests they're already available.

Does anyone know what they are, if they're craftable, or where to get them from?

Definately not craftable probably its the ace pilot reward like the reb helmet but that I don't know for sure.

You mean Rebs FINALLY get the helmets they used in the movies? White, visored, with the Rebel insignia?

Does anyone know if the Hutt and Blacksun helmets are identical? From the phrasing of the In Testing post it sounded like they were two different things.

Thats the pilot faq. At the bottom of the first section they have links to images of the jackets and helmets for each of the 3 pilot factions. They are all wearable. They are not craftable and they only come in that one color.

Also if any of you tailors havent gotten one or seen one yet, the neutral reward in one of the first quests is a wearable mercenary bandolier with the storage capacity of a backpack. I'm so happy to be free of that damn backpack.
