I would love to be able to craft functional cargo pockets..and/or satchels.

These things are great for putting peoples' order in...if they don't want a backpack. People love to loot these little storage containers for sheer novelty, I'd love to be able to hand some out to my customers, containing thier new clothes.

I've always thoughtsatchels and other bagswould bepopular and functional items to give to low-level domestic artisans. They're easy to make, but very useful.

Agreed..maybe give em to Domestic Arts in the tier before backpacks.
Everyone would buy those up! And it would help out the low level crafter in the financial department...

I am working up the skill tree specifically to make cargo pockets. Are the cargo pockets made by tailors not the same as the ones I have been using? I got mine from friends that looted them and I bought some on the bazaar. They each hold 20 items.

They look the same, but the crafted ones--you can't put anything in them.

The crafted ones are just components for backpacks, with no function of their own.

And oddly enough, having a smaller pack like the sachel, would accualy add some more value to the line of backpacks we get....

I still thing the better ones put less of the weight on the person wearing it, but with the way they list stats, who knows?
