Snappy here again.

I am SICK AND TIRED of clothing disppearing after someone purchases from my vendor, puts it on, then leaves my house. It disappears on them soon after. This is TERRIBLE for business. People wanting refunds and I lose potental life long customers. Sometimes the items come back about a day later or not at all. ARGH ARGH ARGH!!

Are other tailors suffering as well as me?

Yep, just got an email from a customer that says his duster and gloves disappeared about 30 seconds after he left my shop. He also said that they re-appeared when he went back into my shop. He wants a refund too.

What do you guys do in this instance, do you refund the money or tell them tough *edit* it's a bug, talk to a CSR or the devs?

I told him that I would refund his money, just to save my reputation, but if this continues I could go broke handing out refunds.

Never had this problem myself but my bf who is a DE has had many people say their stuff has dissappeared. He'll replace it once for free if they lose it again he tells them to /bug it and if it does not show up after a period of time he'll replace again. He's never given a refund though. Only people who tend to get upset over this are the ones crying that he charges too much and were trying to make a deal on the purchase to begin with.

Occasionally I will get a customer telling me that the stuff he bought disappeared and I tell them that they will have it tomorrow when the server reboots. I have never had someone come back after that. The same thing has happened to me when I bought from someone elses vendor. I guess the worst thing that happened was that I had a spraygun that I had just purchased and a laser rifle both targeted as being worn. The spraygun disappeared and the next day I had it back but the laser rifle went to bit heaven.

Since the big Wednesday Patch, I've had this happen many times.

It seems to only happen if it was an item that I'd dropped on the floor of my house and then traded to them. If it went through the vendor, it seemed (!) to be ok.

They'd come running back saying their clothing disappeared, on their screen they were wearing their skivvies. On my and anyone else's screen, they were fully clothed in their new threads. (Emperor's New Clothes in reverse?!)

Solution 1: log out, log back in. It would once again be visible to them.

Solution 2: same as with the skill enhancement items causing you minuses when you remove them but no adds when you wear them, if you previously logged out wearing them instead of unequipping them before logging out -- log out for 15 minutes then back in.

Solution 3: wait for daily server reset.

One of these three solutions has always worked for my customers. It's highly annoying, though.

This is a problem that has happened to 6-7 of my customers over the past few days. This is nothing a relog doesn't fix. Everyone of my customers reloged and items reappeared. For a customer to demand a refund for a bug in the game is rather outrageous but he/she doesn't get the clothes they want then, thier loss. I found this happening to me when I make clothes for them out of my shop and when they leave. Never had this happen from Vendor-bought items. =)

Once they reappear, they won't disappear again, so no reason really to refund them... It's a known bug, I had it happen when I bought some furniture too, some reappeared 30 minutes later and the rest the day after but it's still there.

i'm pretty sure this is a server boundary problem. it happens to me a LOT too, and i'm near the edge of town. new things that i crafted tend to disappear when i go to a friend's shop closer to the city. sometimes logging completely out (ie your avatar disappear from the world) and back in helps, else things will reappear after next server restart. i'm glad my customers have been understanding, but it's really not the tailor's fault... so if they ask for a refund, ask them to submit a CSR ticket.
