I havea few rifle skill enhancements and none of them will go onto my socketed jacket, Iwas told they may only work on certain types of socketed clothing and one know which?

There are two types of socket skill enhancments ... one type for clothing and one type for armor.

The clothing one looks like a roll of cloth ... the armor ones look like square plates.

Is it possible you are trying to put an armor enhancement on clothing? If so, you need to find socketed armor instead.
