I'm trying to transfer some items from one vendor to another and there are about 10 items I just can't retrieve, I get stuck at that window. Has anyone found a way of making it work?

Sigh sounds like everytime I post it's to find a fix to a bug

My experience that if it doesnt retrieve right away, it is bugged an will never be retrievable.

I haven't seen the pattern yet of when it decides to bug or not. I've taken stuff off vendors to move or reprice ... same with the bazaar ... and 90% of the time they work but every now and then ...

One action that always seems to get hit with the retrieve bug (for me anyway) is when a sale expires and the game automatically moves it into retrieve area ... it is bugged ... I have never been able to retrieve an item that expired.

I've also seen that the database program cleans the inventory of bugged items every few weeks as some olf bugged items have completely disappeared.

I've been getting this for almost a month now. Happens from my vendors, bazaar terminals, anything. You get stuck on the 'retrieving item' window and it never returnd. I've found the workaround is immediately escape out and retrieve again if it hangs. If the progress bar goes all the way across the little window one time, it's not ever going to retrieve. Escape, and try again. Usually take me 2 tries per item to get it.

I hate this bug, but would live with it if they'd fix some of the game stoppers, such as factories still not working after the 8-20 patch today.

I have run into this quite often. If you try to retrieve an item by clicking the box that says "retrieve" and you get the please wait..... message. Close that box by clicking the x in top right of window, and then right click on the item bringing the draw down menu with the option to retrieve. Use this. Alternate between the two, as I seem to have to go back and forth when retrieving several Items. confusing solution I know, but it seems to work.

I lost a lot of items due to a vendor bug a few days ago (deleted the old vendor after transferring everything to the new one and I lost everything, then they reappeared the day afterwards), and it looks like it's those items I can't retrieve at all now.

Sent a ticket, will prolly get a reply in one month or something...

I had this problem yesterday buying Mabari armor on a vendor in a private house.

I just exited the vendor and retried.

I had to do this oneach piece (I bought 5 pieces).

ihave the same problem with my vendor, but closing the "retrieving" message and retrieving again works for me. so now i'm used to clicking retrieve, press esc, then try again.

Well I tried everything and could not retrieve them, and during the update this morning most of the items just poofed.

okay, i retrieve stuff from my vendors all the time. it nearly never retrieves outright first go.
I hit retrieve, get the popup progress, hit the little x and then do it again and it aways retrieves second go no problem.

Easiest way to get around this:

Retrieve your item. If it gets stuck, click the X to stop it. Now take a single step in any direction. Now retrieve gain.. and you'll get the item within 5 seconds, almost garentee'd.

Don't know what causes it.. what the problem is. But this simple as simple work around works for me every time.

What about retrieving resources from vendors? I just bought 9k steel in groups of 1k 1k 1k 1k 5k and I am unable to retrieve any of it . I tried all your guys' methods but they don't seem to work. Am i SOL?

took me an hour but I finally retrieved one. But when I retrieved that one, I got all the guy's steel with it. I bought 9k and received 12k . I have to find him later to pay the extra 9k since I didnt have it when I was at his vendor.

I know how you feel. I bought tons of resources off the bazarr a month ago, they're still there -_-
