Thread: Is it just me or are most the items in Casual 1 ugly as sin?

Tipless Gloves aren't tipless.. and they look like leather gloves (ugly)

Sneekers??? They should be called "Shoe that belongs in the 6th century BCE"

Womans Shoes.. look like there made out of the hide of someone who spend 90% of there life on a tanning bed.

The Loose Dress is nice. I've sold a few already and I just got Casual 1 last night. I was gonna go Field Wear 2 first but the grind got to me. I hate grinding, but the farthur I get into tailor the more I realize it's a necessity.

Ah well.. I hope Casual 2 clothing looks better. I need some REAL scifi/post-modern looking gloves already! The Cold Weather ones are at least half way decent.

Well you can kinda get the illusion of tipless if you match it up with your client's skin color, but still.. thats lame

I actually like the Women's Shoes. They look dorky if worn with anything short, but they're pretty nice with slacks or a long skirt, especially in bright colors (like the blue and green you get with Tailoring I.) Sandals are nice, and a perennial mid-level seller for me. I like Standard Boots, but not Paneled Boots so much.

I do think the sneakers are pretty awful-looking, though, and 'Tipless' gloves are just plain odd. I like Loose Dress a lot - it's a really distinctive gypsy-like look I think would be great for dancers, but I seldom seem to move them.

The funny thing is, even the stuff I think is horribly fuggly, someone, somewhere, will buy them. Even Sneakers....

I really like the panneled boots. Black inner coller with Brown leather straps...looks pretty cool with like colored outfit. The sneakers are kind of cool for an ocassional switch. I just wouldn't call them sneakers.

The whole casual line is ugly. It all looks like stuff from the middle ages, save a few exceptions.

I like the casual line for a few particular items.

I love Panled Boots, just soemthing neat about the bulk they have to them and the shape...

Flex Form and Muscle Shirts look good on male or female characters and give us a short sleeve option, though still no sleeveless

Then of coure there are the hot pants, and the Bustiers which sell very well to dancers and can be incorporated into even hunting outfits if done right

Those "sneakers" though do have to "go", I have never made a pair for anyone to date.

I love the casual line and worked up to cas III before i even touched the other lines.

Mostly though i wanted the warm hat to retitle as Fez hats cos i have a thing for Fez hats, hehe

But cloaks sell well, as do hotpants and bustiers.
And I once sold a pair of sneakers to a bothan entertainer called Elv'is or something similar who wanted a white jumpsuit and bluee suede shoes, i made em blue and titled em blue suede shoes, he loved em. hehe

I think the muscle shirt is one of my favorite shirts also - that middle line is great for any two coloured outfit, lets you have a non plain shirt visible beneath their duster/cloak/jacket

And tipless gloves are great, while not technically "tipless" they are one of teh few two-tone gloves and thus a great for a two colour look.

I like sneakers but theyre horrible in any color other than blue, white, yellow, black and solid brown. Black and white ones sell because they remind people of the old style adidas or converse.

Im master tailor and I'm still making things from casual 1 and selling em fine.

I love the Loose Dress, I think it's possibly the single best looking dress in the game, and I'm just disgusted that I can't move them for love or money.

I love the Women's Shoes, and so do my customers once I explain to them what their big advantage is: they can be died to match any outfit, unlike almost any other shoe.

I sell Pleated Skirts all day long - matched with bustiers, it's one of the most popular looks for female entertainers.

Wookiee Strapped Gloves have been a pretty consistent seller for me, too.

Many of the Casual Wear items are hit or miss. Casual III pleated skirt + bustier imho looks cooler than most if any of the dresses in the formal and even master skills. I like paneled boots a lot (though I would appreciate more colors), pantaloons and leather trim shirts are very nice.

Then, 70% of the items of this line are ugly, "low tech" and uninspired.

I agree that the loose dress is probably the nicest dress I've seen yet. I'm suprised to see it at Casual 1. I spose that line does indeed have it's top items, but some items are just odd looking lol.

I've sold a few of the Pleated Skirts, but not the regular skirt.. IMHO it reminds me of something you'd see in a game release in the mid 90's.. IE very low polygon so very fake looking lmao.

yeah the loose dress, pleated skirt, and modest skirt are imho the best items from that tier. Tier 2 has the hot pants, flex & msucle shirt, and the long sleeve shirt. Tier 3 is really good with cloaks & bustier. And tier 4.. more then 1/2 of the items there are really nice.
