can we get some sort of animation for a critical failure? i hate when making something with the other persons resources to have a crit failure and have to try and convince them i'm not stealing there resources any animation will do even a puff of smoke just something to show 3rd parties that a crit failure happened

That has got to be one of the most interesting ideas I've heard in a while!
How about when we craft our toon pulls out our crafting tool...when we have a success (On both assembly and experimentation), confetti shoots out of it (THe bgger the success, the more confetti.) When we fail it starts to smoke, on a critfail it explodes.
Or perhaps for male crafters, on a crit fail a robotic boot could swing down from the tool and kick them in the groin?

I agree, it is such a HUGE pain when you get a critical failure on something that is of great importance to another. It is hard to explain in the first place, plus the trust factor is always put into play and there is always an uncomfortable uneasiness over a transaction of this stature.
