Well... It happened. I became a master tailor as a spur-of-the-moment thing when I was sick of PvP...
And now I'm stuck.
I've got my shop, my vendors, my customers... I can't stop being a tailor 'cause it'd let my wonderful customers down and I can't do that to them.
I've gotten more compliments on my work since going tailor than ANY other class... From being largely ignored as a musician, to being barely noticed as a commando, to being COMPLETELY ignored as a swordsman, to recieving the odd pat on the back as a combat medic... To being loved as a tailor.
I don't know how to leave and I'm not even sure I want to. How in the world did this HAPPEN???
I'm nowa very confused and almost successful master tailor.
By the way... Don't let the title fool ya, I love the profession. Especially if we got the new items and the color fixes... But hey, you guys have been sayin' that for a whole year, right?

...has mastered the tailor profession and still can't decide what to wear.
...has gotten sick of explaining the situation with the color choices to customers.

LoLYep I know exactly how you feel, I've got the same problem. Don't think I would ever get away with dropping tailor, too many people know where I live
But I love being a tailor and wouldn't want to be anything else

Only way not to let your customers down is to leave them in the hands of another good tailor. That is what I did and I don't feel that I alienated them at all.

"Tailorhood IS Forever" I like to believe
I've been a tailor since beta 3. When galaxies came out that is what I pursued and will always keep my "Mastah Tailor" title because that is what I love the most in this game. I'm so used to making things for myself on a whim when I want, how can I give that up??...lol...

I actually enjoy my Master Tailordom but I am having a tough time finding a good BE with a good variaty on Tissues. I would prolly be one myself but I am keeping some room for my Master Artisan until I see what items will be required from it to be a Shipwright and some points for some minors like a lil bit of combat to protect myself for now til I get a good client base.

I know the feeling of not being able to part with the old sewing needles, I started a second account to take over the family tailoring biz along with some other crafting and merchant. It's just a great profession, and more than making people new gear, it opens up some fairly unique lines of interaction with some great people I'd not have met otherwise.

I wish it were possible to master tailor, ID and dancer on the same character. I'd save myself a lot of trouble that way, because these are the professions I cannot live without. However, because of the skill points needed, I have to have two accounts for this. *grumble*
