After the recent talk of "do tailors make good money?"I decided to see just how much money I was making from vendor sales in a month. I got halfway through tabulating for the month and got bored, but I realised someting that in 4 months of stockingBE clothing I never knew.

Halfway through the month and I've sold over 20 +25 Doc items, 14 16/4 melee shirts and bandoliers, 15 imtimidate/warcry items and various other BE itemsbut NO def vs bleed items!!

I've been labouring under the illusionfor 4 months thatdef vs bleedclothingsell slightly less than16/4 melee items. I oncehad someone buy some def vs bleed items and claim they didn't work, I assumed he was just complaining for the fun of it and bought back the items from him. I would have thought that defvs bleed undershirts and bandolierswould be of real importance for pvp'ers.

Any other BE tailors want to give me their opinion on def vs bleeditems? Btw I only stock formfitting undershirts and bandoliers for combat related skill mods (both can be worn with a full suit of armor)

I sell some of them rarely, but I'm not totally convinced that the mod isn't broken in the first place. Some people claim that the only mods that work are the ones that add to a skill that you already have, but nobody has combat bleeding defense in the first place... So I really don't know.

I've noticed a marked drop in demand for them since bleeding damage was significantly reduced.

Not many things bleed anymore. I haven't noticed a bleed on me in a long time. Usually Poison or Disease, both PvP and PvE, but rarely a bleed except against Rancor Youths.

Yep yep yep,

I keep getting requests for Disease and Poison defense clothes. Breaks my heart to have to tell them there is no such thing. When I offer food that offers those defenses, there are no takers...they'd rather have their steak, canape, and vercupti.

My tailor hasn't sold any bleed defense clothing in a long time, and I think it has to do with the effectiveness of medical buffs. My primary toon was out hunting rancors last night, and I hadher melee defense shirt on under the armor. She bled a few times, but it was inconsequential due to the great health stat buffs she had going. Just my observation

I still use my +18 Bleed def Double Bandolier.. but mostly for the looks.

With Buffing, even amax -150 Bleed from a Rancor is no big deal.

Wait until after the Combat Balance.

it's been a long long time since I've sold one of these. Actually, the demand for bleed defense, cover, and warcry/intimidate is almost zero collectively.

As part of the combat balance I'd really really like to see such "combat tissues" re-visited and re-balanced. It's just really stupid that for example you have tons and tons of rifleman, but none of them use the "cover" skill, and the tissue is by far the most challenging to make. I think I've maybe sold half a dozen items or less in the 6 months or whatever it's been since the mollusk tools were introduced.

There are SO many tissues that we get asked for all the time that wouldn't be any more overpowering than the foods or spices that are out already, and it would really re-vitalize clothing.

Agreed. I passed along this sentiment (that we need more BE tissues that are useful) in the compilation regarding Combat Balance/GCW that TH asked about a month ago. I really hope I remembered to stick that in the link directory, but it's around regardless...
