1) Factories: How do they work? I assume you put it up and, like a harvester, feed it power and money. Then give it a schematic, materials, and let it produce over time? Where do crates come in?

2) Schematics: I understand that these are templates for factories to work from..better quality is better product (well, when quality matters some time down the road). I had the window come up a few times asking me "prototype" "experiment" or "schematic" but don't know how it came up...seems rather arbitrary and now that I want it to come up it doesn't hehe.

3) Lastly....any good tailoring site out there? I see very few so far, and sites like Allakhazams and Stratics have alot of old information regarding xp and what not.

Thank you for your answers!!

Hiya, Gus!

1.) Like you said, after you set up a factory, you give it power, money, and a schematic. After that there's an option to list the required materials. Keep in mind that you need to use the exact materials that the schematic was made with. If the schematic requires pre-made components, the serial numbers of each of those components must also be identical (i.e. also made from a factory). Thefinished items areautomatically placed in crates after they're produced by the factory. Crates contain up to 25 stacked products. The crates themselves alwaysuse 5 volume, so try to keep your finished products in crates until you're down to under 5. Also, there's a randomly happening bug at the moment where items don't appear after you remove them from a crate, sobe careful!

2.) To experiment or create a schematic, you need to be using a specialized crafting tool and be right next to a crafting station. Crafting stations come in a few forms. Cities have public crafting stations, but I believe they only handle items of complexities up to 40. To make more complex items, you'll need a personal crafting station that's been placed inside of a player building. You can also build/purchase droids that have built-in crafting modules. These droids act as mobile crafting stations when they have the appropriate module installed. I'm not sure what complexities these droids can handle, but they seem like they'd be great investments even if they're only equivalent to public crafting stations. Lastly, scouts and rangers can set camps that have the crafting stations built-in. I haven't had a chance to see one up close, so again, I'm not sure what complexities they can handle.

3.) I haven't found any good sites dedicated to tailoring, so I always come here to talk about anything tailoring-related.
