Thread: Wookie clothing... amount and sockets
wookie items can come socketed. ive made several with at least 2 sockets.
wookies cannot wear armor, helmets, jewelry, belts... basically most of the humanoid gear. wookies have their own clothing line for wookies only that range from their own types of helmets, shirts, waist wraps, arm wraps, etc. so i wouldnt worry too much. they can also wear bandoliers.
true. ive seen very few rare pieces with 4 sockets. pehaps there can be more but 4 is the largest amt of sockets i have seen on an item. in fact it was on a wookie jerkin i saw on the bazaar up for auction at 1200? credits on doaba, corellia (wanderhome).

The problem with socketed travel packs is that every time I've tried to put the enhancer onto one it just winds up going inside the travel pack, not into it granting it a bonus.
I have faith that the DEVs will fix that bug...just like I have faith that we will be seeing some really hardcore gem enhancements.
I care absolutely nothing about sockets atm1) because they dont work yet and 2) every piece I make has at least 1. They aren't really all that special yet and not worth jacking the price of something up over it.
Now if 1 in every 100 or 1000 items wehand craftedhad sockets in them, then that would be a different story and could probably command a higher price for them.
Sockets depend on your experimentation or assembly skills, I'm not sure which exactly - but they are in the same skill boxes, so its all the same anyway.
Basically at Dom IV virtually everything you make will have sockets - then you get to Tailor and have to grab a couple of boxes before you can do any Tailor items with sockets.
(1) Do Wookie clothes come with Socket's like otherclothing?
(2) I understand that there are certain clothing items Wookie's don't have access to (i.e. shoes/boots). What is the difference in the number of "clothing" items between a Wookie andZabrak?
(3) My understanding is that clothes can have up to 4 sockets, true or false?
Thanks for your help on this.
