Thread: Bioenhancements, how do they work?

Last night I had my first opportunity to work with BE components. I had 2 kinds, one being Tensile Resistance, and the other Toughened Fibers. Now with one kind, and I don't remember which one, I made a formfitting undershirt and an ammo bandolier. The reinforced fiber panel accepted them and identified with the appropriate stats, as did the final results.

With the other, the cloth showed +2 melee, +7 stun. But when I made it into padded pants, the pants did not have stat modifiers. In the BE forum, it says both these components give +melee and +against stun. What I want to know is, are both Tensile Resistance and Toughened Fibers supposed to give the same benefits? And is one of them bugged when made into clothing? Or is it the padded pants that are bugged when the cloth is used in them?

And why cannot I not put these components into synthetic cloth? There is a slot for biological enhancement there too. But the enhancements did not show up as available on the schematic. If anyone has any information on the specifics of enhancements, I would like some advice.
