Thread: BIO ENGINEER Tailor Usable Items Please List
Can someone please list for me the Non-Bugged Workable Tailor Usable Bio-Engineer Cloths so I know what to ask for when looking to buy crates from a BE. I wouldlike a list that gives the nameAND whateffect they provided. I hear one helps reduce bleeding time, etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My understanding from other areas of these boards, is that clothing "says" it gives you the enhancments, but i truly does nothing. I experimented with it a bit and found that when I equiped a shirt with warcry and intimidate enhancments it seemed to work. But when I removed the shirt, I lost the ablity altogether, even when I could do it before I put the shirt on.
the bio engineered items for clothing cannot be factory made (they will be soon tho, when the dev get around fixing it), so they cant be used to make factory made synthetic cloth and rfp, which means u cant make any clothingwith the bio products that need indentical componets.
plus im not sure if the skill mods actualy work when u wear the bio enhanced clothing.
so currently, with the help of one ofmy BE PA guild members ive been making things like trousers, smocks and dresses. ive been creating a entertainers line of clothing all with wound healing (dancing/music) skill mods.
Last night, I added Tensile Resistance, +melee and +stun defense, to an ammo bandolier and a formfitting undershirt, and the guy that wore them said it modified his stats. On the other hand, I tried another component in padded pants, believe it was Toughened Fibers. The cloth was modifed with stats, but the resulting pants were not. So really don't know, but at least some of things actually work.

They show up on your stats, but you dont really have the stat enhancement. This has been stated on both BE and Tailor forums.
The easiest way to test is make a med mod clothing then try to use a stim that your stats say you "SHOULD" be able to use, you cant.
According from what Ive been hearing from the BE's is that the Dev's feel that the stat mods are a tad overpowered and are considering lowering thier effectiveness when they fix them. Meaning the clothes you sell with +10 today might be only +5 tomorrow, or not work at all once they "fix" stat enhancers, and only the post patch ones will work.
I personally refuse to sell broken clothing, and let my customers know why I dont see charging 200-1000cr more for clothes that dont do anything more for you, and may never do anything for you in the future.

Currently when you use BE'ed tissues in Clothes the stats modifiers will show up.. but wont have an actual effect ingame. Some claims that some work, some claims they think they can see a diffrent, but everyactual test i have seen has shown pretty clealy that there is no actual effect of the tissues.
However the Dev's have 'prommised' us that this will be fixed along with the ability to factory produce these items in 'the next major patch'.. so hopefully soon the situation should be a bit better.
To give you some idea of what the bonuses should do take a look at http://plaza.ufl.edu/spalumbo/(under tissues) though some of the modifiers will be changed along with the fix (medical use will be removed for one)
I hope this clear up some of the confusion ![]()
Ya know what, even though I tell people these are not working, they buy them anyways.
I told the guy outright they don't work, but he still wants me to make him a set. I will tell him again... but, for some reason they still buy them.
Had a couple bring in the passive bio sensors yesterday to make an outfit, I said you know these don't work but they proceeded to have me make some anyways.
What I've found is that, if a particular item takes both individual and identical panels, then using individual enhanced panels won't do anything. I had this happen with both the Decorative Dress and the Pleated Dress, each of which take 2 regular synthetic cloth and 2 identical synthetic cloth. I used Myoflex-enhanced synthetic cloth for the two regular slots, and neither dress had any enhancement.
