Hello tailors, and aspiring tailors of the galaxy! I'm here to get input on an idea that's been floating around the TKA forums lately. Now I know some of you may or may not be aware of some of the issues with our profession, so I'll explain a little of what's going on then I'll follow up with a solution to the problem which I think could benefit both of our professions.

Currently the TKA profession has a single weapon, Vibro Knuckles. Teras Kasi Artists seem to be a bit befuddled with the addition of this weapon as we are supposed to be "Unarmed" fighters. Now a call has gone out requesting more weapons for our class. I along with many other members in the TKA forums don't believe that weapons such as throwing stars or other martial arts weapons are the solution to our problem.

This is where tailors come in to play. We've been tossing around the idea of technologically or bioengineered gauntlets/gloves specifically ment to play a role in combat. Gloves could have varying effects such stun for gloves which have been electically fortified, bleed for spiked gloves, fortified gloves could provide more dammage to the opponent.

Anyway I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this by now...Because these gloves/gauntlets would be more weapon like than your standard clothing they should also suffer decay like regular weapons. Thus providing the tailors of the universe with a consitant return customer base. Understandably it's not nearly as great as having the entire universe comming to your door because they ripped their jeans but it's a step in the right direction.

I'd like to get your opinion on if you like this idea, or if you think perhaps that weaponsmiths should be making such items? If you like the idea, please don't hesitate to bring it up to the developers next time they ask for new ideas. I'm sure the TKA's will

I think Tailors should make these.

Then, maybe, they will put our Decay and experimentation back.....)

I think Tailors could make some of them, or at the very least require components purchaced from a weaponsmith.

Tailors aren't supposed to know much about electronics or such, but could certainly take a pre-made module and integrate it into a glove.
