Hey guys,

I'm an architect and thinking of switching professions, would like to know how the tailors are doing on the Tarquinas Server??

I'm a master tailor on Tarquinas and I figure that it is about the same situation on every server for tailors now. Business has been trailing off do to everyone having everything in every color that they could possibly imagine and no decay. We also have problems with undercutting merely out of will to survive. Basically just look at any of the problems mentioned in this forum and they will apply to Tarquinas the same as most other galaxies. Also, the rate of tailors that I see has gone up quite a bit so if you do change professions you may have some tough competition. I know there is a lot of competition in architecture, but at least if you manage to make the sale and edge out over your competitor you may come out with 100k, not 2 or 3k which is about the average price for a tailored item. I hope this helps some.

Thank you for the response Aisha, I actually bought a few things from you. You have a nice selection, I see so many characters running about with new outfits I assumed that you guys were doing pretty well. This is becoming a really huge issue in regards to the lack of decay for certain items. This will ruin a lot of professions if the devs do not add this feature for all. I had to buy a new weapon the other day because of decay, this is the way it should be for most items that you buy from other professionals if they do not change this why bother sticking with your profession or even play SWG if you can't earn credits from your profession so that you can enjoy the game.

I'm also a master tailor on Tarquinas. I'd have to pretty much agree with what Aisha said, and add that some people I know that started with tailoring are having to expand their skills and dabble in others to keep a strongincomegoing. Not to discourage you from tailoring, because I truly have a blast with it, but it's not necessarily the most economically soundprofession, if ya know what I mean. All the issues and points you've probably read so far are the same ones that effect us each day.

I agree completely with what was said before me. I have to work hard to keep income coming in, posting "ads" on the bazaar, having sales, that sort of thing. There are 11 masters on Naboo alone.
