I haven't sold any clothes in days. I dont grind, I've built up a great customer base, but NOONE is buying clothes. I see artisans leaving in droves....armorsmiths, weaponsmiths....tailors too, so I'm also considering giving up the good fight. Am I just being pushed out by the masters, or is this slump affecting everyone?

I go trhough slumps. Days of not selling anything, then all of a sudden Ill sell 100k worth of clothes in one day. Granted it isnt the 200-500k days of old, ahh the good ole days, but it is still decent. Just have to hang in there.

I missed the 'good old days'.. *grins* But I've always found that my sales fluctuate. Weekends are typically my busiest time, and I tend to hit a spike in the middle of the week, for some reason (12 garments just this morning, for instance), whereas Fridays and Mondays tend to be very, very slow indeed.

Business definitely fluctuates. Another good reason to make sure your prices aren't too low!

I was in a bit of a slump recently - was starting to fret about it. Then I went to a busy cantina with a backpack full of materials and my crafting droid. Sold a huge amount of clothes. Since then my business seems to have took a turn for the better - not just because of that, but psychologically it sure helped!

Things you can do during slow periods to help with sales - be seen around town wearing a real sharp outfit. Hang out at the starport or cantina. Analyze the bazaar - what's not listed thatshould be? List a variety of your items with an advertisement for your shop. List some very popular items in other cities. Put up some new displays in your shop then email your customers inviting them to stop by. Have a sale or promotion (can be hard to do buy 1 get 1 unless it is in person - we really need to be able to sell sets of clothes!).
