Thread: Skill Tapes Havent Dropped in Ages? NO POINT IN SOCKETS
On Bloodfin I have not seen skill tapes drop from NPCs since about August/September. I kill A LOT of NPCs and havent looted one in forever. Evrtything has been that silly crap for the Crys of Aldeeron.. They are rarely on the Bazaar. These tapes are in high demand by players. I am always asked to make the a +[insert skill here item]....i have to explain that we can not craft them that they only dropped off NPCs for a brief time...or some asks what the sockets do and if a 4 socket is better than a 3...i have to explain that the only thing that can put in them are the skill tapes but yes they can use 4 different ones...the trick is to find them
I guess my question is, are you seeing them dropp on your server. If they have disappeared, then what is the point of the SOCKETS if there is nothing to go in them! I know most of you want decay and seem to think it will create some business for you. Well all that will do is drive prices down and you'll be cranking out the same blach tee shirt....
People want enhancements...the clothing has sockets for them...
We need to be able to craft enhancements...or at the least have some source for them

Skill tapes have been dropping pretty regularly on Valcyn. I don't ever actually see them as I am rarely in combat, but I get offers to buy them all the time and on a daily basis someone asks me if I want to buy 'Tailoring Experimentation +1'.
They are out there, at least on Valcyn.
