Thread: Bio Engineered Enhancements
I would like some info on these. I have just started working with these. Last night I went to put an Active Biosensor in a piece of Reinforced Cloth and it wouldn't let me only in Synthetic Cloth. I also tried putting a couple of other enhancements in the reinforced cloth and it wouldn't let me. So..........I guess my question is what can go in Renforced and What can go in Synthetic Cloth.
My next question is if you put two of the same enhancements in an item do they stack for instance an item like strip pants that you can put two pieces of synthetic cloth (....and they do not have to be identical )in so if I was to put two Active Biosensors in would it raise it to 30 vs 15.
Any and all help in these would be greatly appreciated. These enhancements are not cheap to buy.
Visit www.swgbio.com for a good overall explanation of Tissues and how to use them.
But for a quick answer, yes, tissues are restricted to what cloth they are used in.
Medic, Entertainer and Creature handler go into Synthetic and everything else goes into Reinforced. (Make sure you don't have a food enhancement that you are trying to pop into a cloth. Splintt and I were pretty pathetic in the beginning, I tried to make some pretty interesting clothes...)
There is actually a good thread about the stacking issue, not sure how far it has fallen though. While I will give you the Cliff Notes version, I strong recommend looking for the thread.
Enhancements do not stack on the live servers at this time, whether you are dealing with a prototype enhanced cloth or an identical enhanced cloth. Before the big patch prototype enhanced cloths stacked. I will admit to liking them not stacking now... what's the point of mastering BE if a first tier BE can make 4 or 5 +3's that stack to equal +9 or higher? But I digress. Each article of clothing can hold up to three (3) enhancements. The wearer canhave up to +25 enhancementsfor each skill before the server just starts ignoring the number, or a maxtotal of100. (If +25 puts you up over the 100 mark, you will have 100 inthe given skill. Note: While you can wear+55 of some enhancement, it will still only give you a bonus of 25, regardless of what yourskill says. Either one item can have the +25 (If you are incredibly lucky) or the wearer can wear any combination of clothing.
For amore indepth explanation, visit www.swgbio.com and do a search in this forum, a lot of threads talk about stackig issues and restrictions.
Hope it helps.
