ok so i bought a set of skill enhanced clothes... bleed defence/wound treatment...

really i could care less about wound treatment as i'm no medic.. however i have a banolier +15, crafter pants+15, shirt +15(bleed mods stated not med)

in PvP i get shot and still bleed... always. Dunno if it is helping in PvE because its hard to say whether any particular mob is trying to use a bleed attack..

however i asked a melee character i was grouped with who has an uber power hammer to DB me so i could get back to town quickly, and my jacket has the melee defense mods to it... and this guy is a pretty rough and tumble fighter and he couldn't hit me to save his life... i actually almost killed him by accident with my unarmed 4 tree mods just standing there trying to die... lol... so apparently that is working ok...

anyone else heard of any problems with bleed defense clothing?

According to my testers BD does work. It will not prevent bleeding completely, but it slows down the damage done by bleeding, enough to either pick up a heal or hope that the NPC or PC who incapped you is walking away. I tell people that it's like sticking a bandaid on a cut. The deeper the wound the bigger bandaid you will need; it won't stop the cut from bleeding, but the bandaid will slow it down significantly.

thanks for the reply,

so it doesn't prevent the attack from going through it just slows the rate at which you bleed then...does it slow how often the bleedhitsyou once bleeding... or damage done per bleed?i'll have to run a few tests myself and see if its workin... it seemed as if i was still gettin a pretty good zap on my health when the bleed kicked.. but it may have just been a powerfull bleed attack...

Yes, the bleed defense clothing works now. I had a buddy test it one night when a bunch of rebels raided Theed. The rebels were only using bleed shots, and kicked the crap out of three of them. He said you still bleed, but the bleed time is greatly reduced.

Bear in mind, also, you are not seeing the bonus you necessarily think you are seeing. You describe having a bandolier, pants and a shirt, all at +15 bleed defense, I think, unless I misunderstood that.

That SOUNDS like it should be +45, but that is a UI bug where it is displaying incorrectly. The maximum possible value that any BE bonus can go to is +25, which has been confirmed by the devs, so while you are receiving a BD bonus, it's only about half of what you necessarily think it is.
