It's most likely the council mans robe I think thats the name of it), I dont know when tailors started being able to make them but they used to be uncraftable. Tailors can now craft them though.

if that is the case, then wouldnt it be names "councilman's robe"? its just titled "robe"

Its not the councilman's robe. Councilman's robe has just the large cumberbund around the upper torso.
Nice looking robe though. Wish we could make it.

Yeah these are random drops and aremy fave item of clothing in the game. I got my first 'robe' about a month ago and plan on starting a collection as they seem to drop in a multitude of different colors.

Oh, I coulda sworn that was the councilmans robe or one of them that is craftable. I have a couple of them and am also pursing a project of gathering both looted clothing as well as "noob" clothing. I have 6 full noob outfits and maybe 29 items of looted clothes. Most of the looted clothes are craftable besides enhancements.
I swear that robe is craftable, I may be wrong though, Im fairly new to the tailor thing and I'm not on my alt so I can't test it. I accept the official decree of the real tailors.

Councilman's Robes have the metal band around the chest/waist but the rest of it is very plain.
That's one nice looking robe ...

I was on naboo, and somehow, i was going around looting everyone i was killing. about 30 minutes, i looked in my inventory and found this robe. it was just titled robe. it is yellow/black. a full robe. kinda has an old, rusted armor look in the front of it. i would link a pic but i have no host. anyone know what it is?

That is the robe that bib fortuna wears... And yes i would soo like to be able to craft it... It looks realy nice.
