Thread: First look at art for Jedi robes!
I'd love some small part in helping make them too. 
After some browsing on that thread, here are a few more notable pictures:

I wouldn't say they are "good looking." Granted they are new and somewhat nice, but from the looks of it they are all in the earthtones, or more brown. I would expect any self respecting tailor could make something much more noteworthy than a jedi robe. I'm not too big on SW lore, but from the looks of it I assume the Jedi Robes/outfits are to keep them low keyed and inconspicuous.
If I wanted to dress like a bum and drop into the background I sure wouldn't enlist the help of a tailor. A tailor is for making you a killer outfit that catches the ladies eye, or guys eyes if you are female. If not for looking snappy it is to promote whatever you want to portray about yourself, I doubt that anyone wants to portray "ignore me, I'm not important."
So unless they are available in a full color palette, I have no desire to craft the jedi robes.
Just take the current Cloak design, and allow the player to chose in between wearing the hood over their heads or off their heads.
Maybe we will actually be able to make the hooded cloaks later.
Hahahaha I can dream sometimes no?
