Thread: Order of colors in pallette changed, and are now too small

Is there any reason why the color pallettes changed and are so smallthat I cannot see the colors? There were a few items that changed a while back but now most of the colors are too small. Is anyone else bothered by this? My monitor is 22 inches so I am already seeing a larger image. I know if I click on it I will see the color on the clothing item, but it is quite annoying since my mouse pointer is larger than the color swatch, not to mention that I had all the colors memorized in their proper place and now they are all mixed up.

have you tried enlarging the crafting window? That stretches things out and gives a bigger color pallet.

If I could do only one thing to improve the crafting UI, it would be to add a dropdown menu or a series of tabs at the top of the color selection screen. From there you would choose Color 1, Color 2, ect. That way, you always have one nice big pallete on your screen that's easy to use and easy to see.

Thanks for the replies. I have enlarged the screen and doesn't help all that much. I guess my biggest complaint is that all the colors are mixed up and not in the usual place and thus, slows down my crafting. But I guess I'll get used to it. I just think there were more important things to change with tailoring such as the invisible necklaces, graphical glithces, etc.

A numbered pallatte would be most helpful in choosing colors.

That's really strange, I haven't noticed a change in the color order at all. Mine are always in the same order, they just rearrange themselves a bit when I make the window larger or smaller.

Ok, I'm an idiot! I wasn't stretching the window enough. It is back to normal now. I guess for some reason all my settings changed. Anyway, I apologize for my stupidity!

It's not stupid at all! Especially because so many of our items have different numbers of colors we can alter, I'm forever resizing mine to make them look right. If you go from crafting an item with two colors to an item with three, you have to resize again to see them the way you're used to...

I wish they would do for tailor what they did for ID...assign each color a number as well. I would also like to see the exact same color pallatte for all items & in the exact same configuration, size, & place, every single time. Also, if they are going to limit colors to certain items (which I also disagree with), then I would rather see the exact same numberedcolor pallatte with X'd out boxes for the colors they don't want us to use. This would still provide a user-friendly visual reference that is similar every time, plus having a number system as well.

Another nice feature would be to have those number choices available when examining an already crafted item. This way if a customer comes to you with a wrapped skirt & wants a padded jacket to match, you can simply emamine the skirt to see that color 1 is 42 & color 2 is 53, & make a matching jacket without having to guess & destroy as you go.

Lol, while we're at it I also think they need to delete all the pre-shading they do with colors to some items. It's impossible to color match items when one of them has a green shading added to it that you can't get rid of & is still mixed in with whatever color you choose. Wookiee items are the worste examples of this.
