at what condition is it the norm to get the best results on a repair? Also i was infromed that clothing items that reach 0 condition still give there bonuses. Can someone steer me in the right direction. thx

From what I understand (from weaponsmiths, assuming it's similar for other things), the best chances of success will be above 25%. Under 25%, it gets dicey. Probably best to repair stuff when it's in the 25-50% range, is my guess.

I'm a master tailor and just repaired a set of, um,hot pants (600/1000 condition I think) that, uhh, a customer brought in!

Anyhow, I wanted to repair them before I move to a different profession, and used a 18% effective tool kit. The repair failed, and moved the condition to 0/0, but was still wearable. Any chance this is a bug and one day my.. err, I mean that customer's hot pants will disappear?

Yes, being able to equip items at 0/0 condition is a bug. Tell... your uh customer, to be careful with those hotpants.

lol.

That is the the worst problem I've dealt with yet. I've repaired items for customers and on success they are really happy. On FAIL.. they are just as happy as they can still wear the items with all of it's mods in tact.

Decay to help the tailor profession?? Give me a break!

As a general rule I don't repair clothing because it is more of a hassle to make the 99% repair kits with the good metal than to just make a new garment. I'll repair BE items or loot drops with sentimental value.

To add more info - I am master, have crates of 95% repair tools and it just fails most of the time. Not correct at all.
