Some armorsmiths still *think* quality makes a difference for synth cloth, but it doesn't - never did.
Back in the day, when we had our fake experimentation, I helped an armorsmith friend test it, and he confirmed pretty conclusively that it made no difference in his end product.

Hello, I want to start making masscrates of synthetic cloth to sell but am wondering if I should be choosy with my resources because I dont want to sell lots of poor quality synth cloths. Does it make a difference if I use poor resources???
Thanks,

Nope. For tailor goods resource quality makes no difference at all.

No. All synthetic cloth and reinforced fiber panels are made by tailors and they all are exactly the same quality no matter what resources are used.

The Novice armorsmiths I deal with just grab some to grind. The masters armorsmiths I deal with just have me make a schematic and supply their owm materials. Might want to post this questionon the Armorsmith forum.
