Ok a general list of resources you'll be wanting. Any type of resource will do unless specifically named.

Chemicals

  • Fibreplast (Lots)

  • Polymer (Lots)

Metals (Lots of one type for items requiring "metal")

  • Steel

  • Iron

  • Copper

  • Aluminium

  • Titanium Aluminium (Small supply will do)

  • Thorium Steel (Small supply will do)

Hides

  • Hide (Largeish supply any type)

  • Bristley Hide

  • Wooly Hide

  • Naboonian Scaley (Small supply will do)

  • Tatoonian Wooly (Small supply will do)

Non-Metallic Minerals

  • Ore (Any type, small supply)

  • Crystaline Gemstone

  • Amorphous Gemstone

  • Green Diamond Crystaline Gemstone (Small supply)

  • Plexite Amorphous Gemstone (Small supply)

Limited Use Schematic Componets

  • Mythra Copper (Think this is right, for Exquisite Leotard)

  • Clothing and Armour Crafting Tool

  • Structure and Furniture Crafting Tool

  • Food and Chemical Crafting Tool

  • Heavy Duty Leather

  • Heavy Duty Clasps

  • Dagger

  • Flora Food (any type)

  • Organic (any type, hides work well if you have plenty)

  • Rori Vegetable Fungus

  • Weapon Repair Tool

  • Droid Reconstruction Kit Type A (Other types supposedly work too)

  • Crystaline Clothing Treatment

For the tailor who wants to be able to make almost anything anywhere you'll want all the basic resources plus crates of...

Components

  • Fibreplast Panels

  • Reinforced Fibreplast Panels

  • Synthetic Cloth

  • Jewellery Settings

  • Trim

  • Metal Fasteners

  • Cargo Pockets (Easier to keep a crate or two on you than make on demand)

  • Shoe Soles (Same as cargo pockets, easier to carry a crate around than make)

I think that should be about it. If I've missed anything just let me know and I'lledit it in. Apart from the limited use list I pretty much carry all those ingredients around with me constantly along with many crates of components.

Remember resource quality does not matter except when making the "Wookie Pillow" (Armour Padding).

Ok,large supply of Fibreplast, Polymer and your generic metalshould probably be a couple of hundred thousand units depending on how many items you're producing. Think of it this way, to run off 1000 each of Cloth, RFP's and Trim you'll need about 46k Fibreplast. Polymer use is not nearly as high but it's always good to keep resources on hand.

Small resource supplies varys slightly. The Plexite, Green Diamond &Ore will last a long time, 5000 will probably last you months as it's not used much. The hides you'll need a fair bit of depending on what combination you get hold of. To save inventory space I only buy Tatoonian Wooly but it can be hard to get hold of so sometimes I buy another type of wooly and keep my Tatoonian wooly for items that require it. 10,000 would probably been a good idea for that if you can get that much. Naboonian Scaley is much tougher to come by. 5000 should last you a fair while but the boots it's used for are fairly popular. The named metals are pureply for backpacks, 5000-10000 should last you a long time for those. I'd always recommend trying to build a backup supply of specific resources though, incase they shift out for a long time or you don't realise when they run out.

During my high point tailoring I was using a full cloth run in under a week and a full trim run in just a littlelonger than cloth. When you're running a major vendor you can work through cloth and trim like there's no tomorrow. It all depends on how your sales go. Just remember if you want to do 1000 item runs you'll need some good storage for it all.
