I've been capped on tailor xp for awhile, but I found this post while browsing the AS forum, and I thought it was interesting.

No it's still there, clicky didn't work for some reason.

Clicky fixed but you can still manually do it if you want.

I was always under the impression that armor/weapon usage xp was alive and well - I thought it was based on every time the armor is hit (decays) or weapon is used (also decays). But this is all hearsay, I really would like to know how it actually works. I've been capped in tailor for as long as I remember, so unless I get glowy and trad it all in, I'll never find out

Well I thought it was interesting he said he got artisan xp from the clothing he made. I can still test that. I can make my main wear some artisan clothes before I log out my tailor and check my crafting xp the next day. If it works for crafting xp, I don't see why it shouldn't work for tailoring xp.

I know I get xp for people wearing my clothing. I have gone to the village and turned in ALL my tailor xp then log in the next day and find I have 9000 or so xp in tailoring without having made anything!

Interesting, but it is not happening to me in Tailor xp but in General crafting xp with bikes I have made I guess.
In that case, should we request decay bug?

I've posted how Tailor (and Artisan clothing) UXP works a few times. It would be nice to know how it works for the other item types, though.

Yup the usage XP are in there, but not for all and everything I guess... I used to be very happy as a total newb long long ago while I worked on Artisan and Irealized I had additional 50!!!! general craftin xp, because someone not only bought one of my survey or crafting tools, but even used it
